Begin your trek by following the Buri Gandaki River, passing through terraced fields and lush forests.
The trail gradually ascends and crosses several suspension bridges before reaching Machha Khola (900m).
The journey offers stunning views of the Buddhist stupas and the surrounding hills.

The trail follows the Buri Gandaki River, climbing steeply at times through Khopre, a village located on a hilltop.
After crossing several suspension bridges and passing through dense forests, you’ll reach the village of Jagat, known for its ancient Buddhist monasteries and Gurung culture.

The route today is more remote, with fewer villages along the way.
You’ll cross the Buri Gandaki River once again, and the terrain becomes more rugged, with glimpses of the snow-capped peaks in the distance.
As you trek through dense forests and cross several suspension bridges, you’ll finally reach Deng (1,860m), a beautiful village where you can immerse yourself in Tibetan Buddhist culture.

The trail today is quite scenic, with expansive views of the Manaslu range.
You’ll pass through several small villages, including Lhi and Shyaula, where you can witness the unique culture of the Tibetan-influenced communities.
Continue through the lush forest to reach Namrung (2,660m), a charming village with stunning views of Manaslu and Himalchuli.

As you continue ascending today, you’ll enter a more arid landscape with clear views of Manaslu and surrounding peaks.
The trail continues through Buddhist villages and eventually leads to Samagaon (3,530m), a large village known for its monastery and views of the Manaslu Glacier.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore the Buddhist monasteries and acclimatize to the altitude.

Spend a day in Samagaon for acclimatization. You can take short hikes around the village to help your body adjust to the higher altitude.
Consider hiking to the Manaslu Base Camp (4,470m) for a closer view of the Manaslu Glacier or explore Pungyen Monastery, located on the opposite side of the Buri Gandaki River.

The trek from Samagaon to Samdo is relatively short but scenic.
As you approach Samdo, you’ll pass through high-altitude meadows and experience stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Samdo is a small village with a Tibetan atmosphere, and it is often referred to as the “Gateway to Tibet.”

The trek from Samdo to Larkya Phedi (the base of the Larkya Pass) takes you through open valleys and barren landscapes, with amazing views of Manaslu and Larkya Peak.
This is a challenging day, as you will be trekking through alpine terrain, preparing for the high-altitude crossing of the Larkya Pass.

Today is the toughest day of the trek, as you’ll cross the Larkya La Pass, one of the highest points of the trek at 5,160m.
The pass offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, with distant peaks like Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Peak 29 visible in all their glory.
After crossing the pass, descend steeply to reach Bhimtang (3,590m), where you’ll have time to rest and relax.

The trail descends through Buddhist villages and lush forests, following the course of the Dudh Khola River.
The views of the surrounding peaks, such as Mt. Manaslu and Himalchuli, remain incredible throughout the day.
You’ll reach Tilije, a beautiful village known for its traditional culture and stunning landscapes.

Continue the descent through Timang and other small villages, passing through lush forests, terraced fields, and along the banks of the river.
Upon reaching Dharapani, you’ll join the Annapurna Circuit trail and enjoy the final stretch of your trek.

From Dharapani, drive back to Kathmandu, passing through picturesque landscapes and villages.
The drive will take about 7-8 hours, and upon arrival in Kathmandu, you can relax and reflect on your incredible adventure.

Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
